Siskel - Stud

AKC GCH CH Robnie's Two Thumbs Up At Moonlit

Phyllis Giroux DVM from DeepRunRetrievers added Siskel as a full time member of Deep Run Farms. He is a powerful, handsome, and beautifully made English Labrador Retriever — the product of two Specialty‑Winning, nationally ranked No. 1 Labradors and a pedigree stacked with proven producers, performance dogs, and classic breed type. He carries forward the unmistakable presence, temperament, and structure that define the best of the Borador and Sunspot lines.

Show Ring Achievement

Siskel completed his AKC Grand Champion Title with a standout win, going Best of Opposite Sex over Specials at the Langley Kennel Club on May 27. His size, balance, and effortless movement make him a commanding presence in the ring, and judges consistently reward his type, outline, and confident, friendly demeanor.

Pedigree Excellence

Siskel is the son of two Specialty Winners, each of whom reached the pinnacle of the breed in their respective years:

Sire: BISS CH Borador’s By George (“Gordy”)

• #1 Labrador Retriever in the U.S. — 2001

• Top‑producing AKC Labrador for 2007, 2008, 2009

• Known for his exceptional temperament, greeting everyone with a stuffed toy and a request to play

• Producer of numerous hunt test and performance‑titled offspring

• A dog celebrated for both beauty and working ability

Dam: BISS CH Sunspot’s Lace’em Up JH WC (“Lacey”)

• #1 Labrador Retriever in the U.S. — 2006

• A spectacular showgirl with a commanding ring presence

• Earned accolades from judges across the country during her campaign year

• Also a joyful, athletic companion — equally happy fetching, hiking, or staying fit at Deep Run Farm

This pairing blends elite conformation, proven performance, and classic Labrador temperament into one powerful genetic package.
